Did you know that listening to books on audio or watching them on video works well too? There are many ways to listen to books in the car, before bed, while doing chores, or during quiet time; all are excellent. The best boost is to have your child follow along with the hard copy when listening to a book. The audio reading serves as a fluency model, aids pronunciation, and helps strengthen your child’s independent reading skills.
